from 8/26/10
Classic Rock, Blues, R&B….plus some familiar faces, a little historic ambiance and warm weather – all the ingredients for a perfect summer evening!
Join us every Thursday, now through September 9th, for the “Outback Concert Series” behind Love Vintage Guitars, 130 W. Michigan in downtown Marshall. The concerts will be held from 7pm-9pm and they will be….yep, you guessed it – outback behind the store. We have the official “OK” to block the alley and some of the parking lot, so there is plenty of room for a BIG, noisy crowd!

One benefit of owning a guitar store is that you meet plenty of incredibly talented musicians. We have even engaged some professional artists who are Marshall alumni to play the night before their class reunion weekends.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 26th - Dawgballz Deluxe with All Strung Out and Gettin’ Hammered - Blues
Classic rock and folk music by Love Vintage Guitars owner Jim Zawodni, guitarists Charlie Perry & Monte Klein, with Monica Klein playing hammered dulcimer.
CONTINUED SEPTEMBER LINE-UPS:
September 2: Stan Budzynski and 3rd Degree
Kick off Labor Day weekend with the 2009 Capital Area Blues Brawl winners – authentic blues and classic rock.
September 9: Kjell Croce
Wrapping up the series right before home tour weekend with local favorite (and skilled luthier) Kjell Croce.
Sound is provided by Jim Carbary of Frost Audio. Jim Zawodni serves as emcee and custodian of bad jokes. The concerts are “free” with a collection taken to support the artists. Visit www.LoveVintageGuitars.com or their Facebook site for more information on the performing artists and weather cancellations.
