Tourism Day, part of the annual Michigan Week celebration in Marshall, is also set for Saturday, May 15. On this day, Marshall opens its local museums to the public free of charge from 10:00 until 5:00. A special addition to Tourism Day this year is the addition of three Battle Creek locations: Kingman Museum, Kimball House Museum and the Art Center of Battle Creek.See details at Tourism Day Link.

This is a wonderful opportunity for visitors and local citizens alike to explore the richness of Marshall’s heritage. For those who have visited the museums in the past, this is a great time to become reacquainted with them.

This is an ideal day to bring the entire family to the museums. These early visits can help children develop an appreciation both for the town’s history and its ancestors who helped build Marshall into the unique town that it is today.
