Enjoy this tour of the Oakridge Cemetery with your guides and learn more about the people who made Marshall famous!

"If These Stones Could Talk..." is a guided walking tour of Oakridge Cemetery where actors portray seven significant persons from Marshall's past at each of those individual's gravesites. The actors will provide factual information about each person, but in the tradition of the theater - the Marshall Civic Players is one of the sponsors along with the Marshall Historical Society - the evening will be high drama!

The Tour
Beginning at 7:00 PM, small groups of 25-30 people will be guided by hosts in a predetermined lantern-illuminated pattern through the historic Oakridge site, one of the oldest continuously operated cemeteries in Michigan.

You are encouraged to bring a flashlight, wear comfortable walking shoes, and depending upon the weather, carry an umbrella. Only if lightening and thunder storms threaten will the venue be moved to an indoor location. Physical assistance for the tour may be available for those who cannot walk the route. Please inquire when purchasing tickets.

Tickets for this fundraiser can be secured through the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce for $8 in advance ($10 day of tour if available). There is no "children's ticket price" as the tour is not appropriate for young children.

Proceeds will assist in supporting Marshall Civic Players and Marshall Historical Society endeavors, as well as help to restore and preserve cemetery monuments. For Living History tickets, please call the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce at 269 781-5163 or 800 877-5163.
