Tony DeRose from Summit Pointe’s Youth Team will present “Positive Parenting” to adults in the Meeting Room of Marshall District Library on Tuesday, September 21, from 7-8:15 pm. Would you like a better understanding of your child’s behavior? Would you like to hear new ideas and techniques on how to parent your child-of any age? Parents, grandparents and caregivers are invited to attend this free one hour workshop. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn specific, practical approaches and strategies for addressing some of the common challenges we all have with child rearing. Tony DeRose has been a teacher, counselor and educational leader. He graduated from Indiana University, and holds a MA in Counseling and Guidance from WMU. DeRose currently is CEO of TDR & Associates, L.L.C., teaches for WMU as an adjunct instructor, and contracts with Summit Pointe of Battle Creek. He is active in the Battle Creek community, serving on many civic and community boards.
